Custom Metal Railings for London Properties

If you are looking for new metal railings for your home or business in London, JT Metalworks Ltd provides a complete design, fabrication, and installation service. We manufacture high-quality metal railings built to suit both the style of your property and its security requirements. From traditional wrought iron railings to modern steel and aluminium systems, our team delivers reliable, long-lasting results.

We work with homeowners, landlords, builders, and commercial clients across Greater London, supplying railings for front gardens, balconies, staircases, terraces, lightwells, and boundary areas. Every project is made to measure, ensuring a precise fit and a professional finish.

Railings Designed to Suit Your Property

All of our railings are custom fabricated to meet your exact needs. Whether you require decorative railings to improve kerb appeal or heavy-duty security railings for added protection, we can design and manufacture a solution that works for your space.

We regularly supply and install:

Metal railings
Wrought iron railings
Balcony railings
Aluminium railings
Steel security railings
Garden and boundary railings

Design options include straight-top railings, arched designs, spear-top railings, flat bar styles, and modern minimalist profiles. Finishes are available in galvanised steel, powder coated steel, or painted to suit existing gates, fences, or architectural features.

All railings are built to current safety standards where required, including height and spacing regulations for balconies and elevated areas.

Fabrication, Installation, and On-Site Welding

Our service covers every stage of the process. We begin with a site visit to take accurate measurements and discuss design options. Once approved, your railings are fabricated in our workshop using quality materials, then installed on site by experienced metalworkers.

As a mobile welding company, we can also carry out on-site welding where needed, allowing for secure fixing, adjustments, or repairs during installation. This ensures a strong and durable result without delays.

Replacement and Repair Services

If you're looking to replace old or rusted railings, get in touch with us today. We can replace existing railings to match your entrance gates or create an entirely new design.

We also have the expertise to build custom fire escapes.

Fire Escapes and Safety Railings

In addition to residential railings, we design and build custom fire escapes and safety railings for commercial and multi-occupancy properties. All fire escape structures are fabricated with durability and access requirements in mind and installed to meet relevant regulations.

For all your metal work needs, Tom from JT Metal Works is the real deal. I found Tom's details online and telephoned him. We corresponded via WhatsApp initially, as I was trying to explain my requirements. He gave me an estimate which was competitive with the other quotes I received. I asked Tom to do the following: Design a cage for a window box for the bottom window sill, in the front garden, to stop the troughs being knock to the ground by foxes. Design a new latch for my front gate, as I was unhappy with the one I had. We discussed loosely the design of the cage. I was happy with the quote, so I engaged Tom to carry out the work. Tom asked if he could come to my home to measure up and discuss the design in more detail. I asked him to pause, as I was waiting for some new troughs and I wanted to ensure the measurements would be correct. When the troughs arrived, Tom came and measured up and discussed the design. Tom went into a lot of detail. The types of rods used. The height of the cage. How the cage would be attached to the wall, etc. After a lot of discussion, I also asked Tom to make a rail for the front wall and my gate was rusting, so I asked him to respray it. I'm really pleased Tom went into so much detail, as I really wanted it to look great. Tom was very prompt starting the job. Tom had to replicate the design at the top of my gate, as he couldn't get in touch with the individual who designed/made my gate. Tom contacted me when he was replicating the design, to check I was happy with the copy. The job took approximately 4 weeks. Tom came and installed everything. Again, checking things during the installation. I'm glad he did, as there was a question about the front rail and I wanted it installed in a particular way. I am SO happy with the results. It looks beautiful. The cage fits perfectly. Everything ties in; the gate, cage and rail. Tom is a real professional, who takes pride in his work and wants to do the best job. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

An absolutely legendary service from Tom. The project was challenging, but he relentlessly fought for us like a champion: never giving up, always supportive, positive, approachable and there for you, regardless of any setbacks or obstacles. You can immediately feel he genuinely cares and takes pride of his work. A rare and so valuable trait these days. You can't go wrong working with him - just do it!

JT Ironworks were amazing. They did an urgent repair to our cast iron banister on our Victorian staircase in South Ken Looks even better than before. Super respectful. Clean. Very conscientious. Could not recommend more highly. Brilliant guys.

Had our balcony floor replaced. The guys worked tirelessly on a hot day to remove the old floor, treat the rust and replace with a new floor. The balcony was on the first floor so was not easy to remove the old and bring in the new floor. They were so polite and tidy sweeping up after themselves. Would definately recommend.
